This is our local hero Luigi ……….. perched precariously on the side of the canyon ……….. risking life and limb ………. to bring the water, power and wi-fi services down from the house to the Field Kitchen. This is one of the last major outdoor construction projects to be completed ………. once it has a roof it will provide a really cool and sheltered base for all you guys to hang out, cook,eat, do laundry, check your emails etc etc. ……. in other words a sort of camping base with individual tents pitched in the surrounding land. Water supply is now up and running ……… power and wi-fi yet to be wired in at both ends.
What he is doing in these shots looks easy and safe ……… until you look down at the wooden bench below ……….. and you will get a sense of the skill involved !
The roof is quite a serious size some 14 mts by 8 …….. and we are a little short of manpower at the moment ……….. so if you still haven’t made any final summer plans ….. and you have any basic carpentry skills or are willing to learn ……..( or you just loved the barn-raising scene with Harrison Ford in “Witness”) ……. then ……. read on …. maybe get in touch.
