So …… you will see that I haven’t really kept an up to date blog of events as they happen …….. so far ……..
but I am told this has to change ! So from here on in I aim to add a brief update every couple of months …. starting this coming May 2012.

Now in early jan 2012 I’m taking a break in London – catching up with friends – speaking my own language – going to the cinema – and shopping at the fantastically well-supplied london supermarkets ! I will return to the Moulin in early March …… where my first job will be to try and create some order out of the chaos of what is supposed to be my workshop. As that is going on I will need to keep up with the Spring growth in the garden and orchard – get the pool ready for the summer – and make a start on the field kitchen roof and the yurt platform. Never a dull moment !

The aim for this year is to get the camping facilities completed so that it will be easier – and more comfortable – for people to come and stay. Once that is done the next major project will be to complete the Kitchen garden – a start has been made – 6 cubic metres of compost is quietly composting – the land has been levelled and the gates are in place. And now it needs fencing, the beds digging out and an irrigation system digging in – so plenty of work there – we may even get around to planting some vegetables one day.

So if you are a sociable, sensitive outdoor kind of guy and you have the muscles, enthusiasm, a tent and some spare time this year ….. please get in touch ….. its not all work… promise …. and you will have a great time, outdoors with other guys doing something creative in a very beautiful place.
